AmaraDate aims to correct meaningful factual errors promptly and transparently.
Reporting an error
Submit correction requests through the contact page. Please include the article URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate, why it is wrong and a reliable supporting source where possible.
How requests are assessed
- We distinguish factual errors from disagreements about tone, opinion or interpretation.
- We review the original source material and any evidence supplied.
- We prioritise errors that could materially affect a reader’s safety, finances or decisions.
- We may contact the person who submitted the request when clarification is needed.
Corrections and updates
Minor spelling, grammar or formatting changes may be made without a correction notice. Material factual corrections should be reflected clearly in the article, with an updated date or correction note where appropriate. Content may also be updated when circumstances change even though the earlier version was accurate when published.
What we will not do
AmaraDate will not remove accurate reporting or legitimate criticism solely because it is inconvenient to a person or company. Commercial relationships do not determine whether a correction is accepted.
